Beijing airport surpass Heathrow.

In the first two months of the year, Beijing airport recorded 5.3 million of journeys, compared with 4.6 in London Heathrow. An overtaking that has even more significance considering that ten years ago China did not even appear in the ranking of the first thirty airports in the world. The world record appertains still to Atlanta with 6.4 million journeys, but it is a datum characterized as a predominantly domestic traffic.
